The Filmoteca de Catalunya is located in one of the oldest districts in Barcelona, El Raval, very close to the Rambla de les Flors and the Liceu Opera House on one side and to Paral·lel Avenue and its theatres on the other.
Having opened in 2012, the Filmoteca de Catalunya contains two projection rooms, exhibition spaces, a film library (Biblioteca del Cinema), a bar-restaurant and a bookshop.
